Center for Procedural Skills and Simulation (CPSS)

To All Center for Procedural Skills and Simulation (CPSS) Learners:

We have resumed CPSS face-to-face events with appropriate COVID-19 guidelines in place. Learners are asked to wear their own face coverings (face shields and/or face masks) at all times, use hand sanitizer when entering and exiting our learning space, and maintain social distancing.

  • SAGES test takers (FLS and FES)—UIHC guidelines are subject to change as the COVID-19 situation evolves. Please contact your exam proctor the day before your exam for the most up-to-date information regarding UIHC visitor information.
  • CVC learners—please contact John Ding at johnson-ding@uiowa.edu to schedule all events.
  • All other learners—please contact Julie Hartman at julie-hartman@uiowa.edu for all other scheduling.

Thank you for your patience as we move forward to coordinate future events. For additional information, please refer to the University of Iowa’s Campus Coronavirus Updates website at https://coronavirus.uiowa.edu/. We will also post updates on our website.

The Center for Procedural Skills and Simulation provides the University of Iowa Health Care organization with the facilities, resources, structure, and expertise to enable all clinical applications to access the highest quality intra- and inter-professional simulation education at all levels of medical education.
