Our Integrated Call Center connects you to the information and resources you're seeking at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and UI Stead Family Children's Hospital.
The staff of registered nurses and referral specialists use information tools to help you get appropriate medical attention, schedule appointments, or to connect you with our business staff and services. The staff also handles after-hour calls for our community outreach clinics and other business services.
The Integrated Call Center is designed to help first-time patients access the various health care services. Our 24-hour Health Access service can answer your health-related questions, assist with appointment requests, and help address other service concerns.
Our 24-hour UI Consult service helps health care providers consult with staff physicians. On-call physicians are available for each clinical department 24/7. If you need to speak with a physician not on call, our staff will make every effort to connect you as quickly as possible. Our staff is available to help you schedule an appointment for your patient, get admissions information, consult medical records, or consult with your patient's specialist.
