Concussion

A concussion is an injury to the brain that briefly disrupts its normal function that is usually caused by a blow to your head. Even if the blow didn’t knock you out, you may still have suffered a concussion from it.

Most people recover quickly and completely within a few days to a few weeks. Resting after the injury and protecting your head from a second impact are important for a quick recovery.
