University of Iowa orthopedic surgeons Robert Westermann, MD, and Michael Willey, MD, are the authors of the lead article in the Spring 2020 issue of Sports Medicine Update, a publication of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.

 

“From Dysplasia to Impingement: Keys to Evaluating and Treating Hip Conditions in the Athlete” reviews proper treatments for the highest rate of return to sports in athletes with hip conditions.

 

Dr. Westermann and Dr. Willey are co-directors of the Young Adult Hip Clinic at UI Sports Medicine.
