Internal Medicine

Choosing a primary care physician is one of the most important decisions you can make. You not only need someone you feel comfortable discussing your health care with, but a partner who knows you and can help you make the decisions that keep you healthy.

Primary care services through the Department of Internal Medicine provide personal, patient-centered care that is accessible, coordinated and comprehensive. Our care team of internists specializes in the care of adolescents and adults, focusing on the prevention and treatment of adult diseases—from routine care of common illnesses and injuries to specialized care for rare or complex diseases and conditions. Our physicians work closely with surgeons or other medical specialists to ensure that each patient’s care is coordinated and comprehensive.
