Why University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics
Choosing University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics to pursue my residency training was a very natural decision for me. As I am interested in ambulatory care, it is so encouraging to see all of the practice settings that have integrated clinical pharmacists in ambulatory settings. I truly believe University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics is a destination program to train at as a prospective ambulatory care pharmacist and I am just lucky the program was in my backyard! I am also interested in rural health and I enjoy getting to work with patients from all over the great state of Iowa as University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics is the only large academic medical center in the state.
Favorite Part of Iowa City
Since I have lived in Iowa City for six years now, I have had the opportunity to try lots of things. There is never any shortage of delicious places to eat or try a new craft brew on a patio. I am also excited to introduce all of my co-residents to Iowa Hawkeye football Saturdays this fall!
