STEM Summer Camp for Students

Registration is closed for the 2022 session!

3-week camp session: Monday - Friday, June 13 - July 1, 2022

Minority, young women, and youth with and without disabilities in 7th, 8th, or 9th grade during the 2022-23 school year are encouraged to apply to the Iowa National Summer Transportation Institute (INSTI). Three weeks of learning will include hands-on activities, university lab tours, weekly field trips, and other campus activities. This camp focuses on STEM Education, careers in the transportation industry, leadership, college readiness, and more.

The Iowa National Summer Transportation Institute (INSTI) is hosted by the Center for Disabilities and Development, Iowa’s UCEDD. It is offered in collaboration with the Civil Rights Bureau of the Iowa Department of Transportation and funded through the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration.
