We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncology Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, contributing to on-going research initiatives of interest and actively participating in the development of innovative treatment approaches. As a full-time Oncology Physician, you will have the opportunity to work in a world-class setting with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for individuals diagnosed with various forms of cancer and blood disorders.
• Provide expert consultation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and patient-centered care.
• Order & manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other advanced treatments, monitoring patients for responses and managing side effects.
• Stay abreast of the latest advances in oncology research and contribute to the development of evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment options, potential outcomes and necessary lifestyle adjustments.
• Participate in tumor board meetings, case discussions, and other collaborative initiatives to enhance patient care.
• Contribute to ongoing clinical trials and research studies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Candidate must be board-certified/board-eligible in Medical Oncology. Board certification/Board-eligibility in Hematology is preferred but not required. Candidate must qualify for an Iowa state medical license.
