Wheelchairs and Patient Transport at Medical Center University
Wheelchairs are available for patient at Medical Center on the University Campus to use at these entrances:
- the Main Entrance
- the Pomerantz Family Pavilion entrance
Attendants at those entrances can help patients out of their cars and into a wheelchair.
Arrangements for patient escorts and wheelchair assistance also can be made at our information desks.
PATmobile (Personal Assisted Transportation vehicle)
The PATmobile (Personal Assisted Transportation vehicle) serves patients and visitors who may not need wheelchair transport, but would benefit from motorized transportation within Medical Center on University Campus.
This service is available from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
The PATmobile runs on the Second Level; you can request service at the Information Desk, or by calling 102 from any in-house phone.
