From assessment to treatment and educational planning, we offer comprehensive services for patients with attention and/or hyperactivity challenges. In addition to treatment for the patient and family, we offer consultations to referring physicians, schools and other providers of community services.
In some cases parents seek out our care by self-referring their child. In other cases their child is referred to us by primary care providers or school personnel.
Among the concerns we address are:
- Difficulty focusing
- Easily distracted
- Impulsive—doing or saying things without thinking
- Hyperactive, restless, fidgety
- Difficulty finishing work
- Difficulty with organization
Our treatment approach includes medication management, educational consultation and testing, psychological testing, individual therapy, family counseling, and consultation with local providers.
