Dr Laux has been amazing during my Dads cancer. He came to the clinic to see him on a day that he didn't have clinic, he's very empathetic and explains everything very well. Unfortunately on this last visit my Dad has decided to stop the chemo (post surgery) due to his body not responding well after 2 weeks of it. Dr Laux listened to my Dads decision and was supportive with it. Dr Laux would call me at times to follow up and see how my Dad was doing too. He goes over and beyond for his patients and families to ensure that they are taken care of. Dr Laux has made a huge impact on my Dads life and plan of care, I'm so thankful that we got him as his cancer Dr for this.

Everything is like clockwork. I had appointments in five different departments on *DATE* and was running late for one appt so the dental department called the Oncology department for me to tell them I was running late. Dr. Laux spent as much time as was needed with me to explain how everything was going to work. I really like the fact that all the appointments will basically be arranged thru the Univ of IA Hospitals doctors (or staff). Love the fact that all the information is posted fast so I can view information on my computer.

Dr. Luax showed an extraordinary understanding of my wife's disease and I have never seen a doctor discuss treatment options in such a understandable and compassionate manner.
