Catalyst 2

George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, the State of Liberty, and the American eagle unite in this collage of purple three-cent stamps from the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. Some are dirty, some are faded, some are obscured by ink, and some are pristine. Each stamp has been collected from a letter and bears a postage mark from a different date or location.
