Frequencies

Inspired by the work of post-Impressionist painter Georges Seurat, Jordan Scott uses stamps of differing hues and tones to create squares made up of green one-cent stamps reminiscent of American currency. At the center are George Washington stamps surrounded by stamps of the Statue of Liberty. Another layer of George Washington stamps is ringed by dark green Thomas Jefferson stamps, creating a work of art made up entirely of American symbols and historical figures.
