Lanternfly Formation

From the family Fulgoridae, lanternflies are colorful tropical insects identified by their delicate colors and the large, trunk-like protrusions at the top of their heads. People wrongly believed for centuries that these bugs could light up at night like fireflies, and the nickname “lanternfly” has lasted despite proof that their “snouts” emit no light.
