Sisters

Two identical chickens, united by the title Sisters, seem to carefully pose under a sky of fluffy cotton clouds for this detailed and lovingly composed photographic portrait. Scale of the created landscape is skewed; the chickens are monumental upon a grape doily, but a tiny toy horse is dwarfed by a cantaloupe in the background. A heart tucked against a rock perhaps signifies love between the chickens, the love of the artist for his birds, or both.
