Surface tension

In a tranquil display of green and blue, a grouping of leaves rest atop a glassy pond. As the title suggests the leaves are showing an interesting scientific occurrence; Surface Tension. If you look closely enough, you can see the pressure of the leaves on the water, giving it an elastic tendency even though it’s a liquid!
