Triceratops

The mighty Triceratops, capable of reaching almost 30 feet in length and 10 feet in height, is the official state fossil of South Dakota and the state dinosaur of Wyoming. Often depicted locked in battle with the carnivorous Tyrannosaurus rex, this herbivore is a common subject of dinosaur movies and books.
