Tychonian System

Although we now know that the Earth revolves around the sun, astronomer Tycho Brahe placed the Earth at the center of his sixteenth-century model of our solar system. This artistic depiction of the Tychonian system shows the sun, moon, and the stars revolving around the Earth while other planets revolve around the sun.
