Rahele was born in Iran. She moved to the United States in 2011 and graduated with an MFA in Visual Arts from Iowa State University in 2015. She is a professional children's picture book illustrator and painter, living and working in Ames, Iowa. Rahele has illustrated seven children’s picture books, including Donkey in the Woods, The Great hunting, The Lion and the Rabbit, and The Grape Garden.
