Project Art is exhibiting Ian Huebert's prints in conjunction with Frogman's 41st Print Workshop. The University of Iowa School of Art and Frogman's Print Workshops are partnering to bring the world-renowned summer intensive to Iowa City; in part due to Iowa's rich print tradition and as home to one of the strongest graduate print programs in the nation.

Huebert's practice is rooted in the plains landscape he grew up in and calls home. It is an investigation into place, considering human activity on the land, personal history, and the surrounding ecology.

Ian Huebert is a printmaker and illustrator from Iowa City. Through his studio the Picture Press, he publishes printed editions and artworks, with an emphasis on relief and letterpress printing. Huebert has a background in commercial illustration and book arts. As an Iowa Arts Fellow, he earned his MFA from the University of Iowa Center for the Book in 2017. His work has been in publications such as McSweeney's and is held in numerous collections, including the Library of Congress.
