This series of watercolors by Kevin Moye-Rowley are inspired by organic forms within the body; he utilizes watercolor because the fluid nature of the medium conveys the often-unpredictable nature of health. The rigid black outlines represent the illusion that physical and mental well-being is entirely under our control. Moye-Rowley explores his own relationship with chronic illness through these vivid abstract works.

The repetition of stylized shapes has a labyrinth-like quality, epitomizing Moye-Rowley's journey for diagnosis and treatment.
