Lori Miller's mosaic-style artworks are reminiscent of her experience working in stained glass. Instead of glass, Miller is currently working with fabric, incorporating metal and other found objects. She has worked in this media for over twenty-four years, continuing to discover new inspiration and techniques. Fabric is her choice of medium as it offers a variety of textures, colors, and forms; adding an invigorating dimensionality to her work.

Her mosaic compositions are an interpretation of geological shapes and relationships. Miller captures glimpses of natural formations, as well as the effect of organic phenomena and human impact on the environment.
