This exhibition is an ongoing series of photographic constructions of the midwestern landscape. These works pursue ideas about boundaries and edges in landscapes which parallel the edges found in textiles and garments.

These images were created at Viking Lake State Park in Stanton, Iowa. The park is a highly manipulated landscape centered around a man-made lake. The controlled land that makes up the dam is juxtaposed with the lush woodlands that surrounded the immediate proximity of the lake. This series was created as part of the 20 Artists, 20 Parks Project, a partnership between the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Iowa State University College of Design, and the Iowa Arts Council.
