MPH, PhD

Jenna Gibbs, MPH PhD is an industrial hygienist and the Manager of the Injury Prevention and Community Outreach program. In this role, she dedicates her expertise to protecting children by overseeing the Safety Store and specialized outreach programs focused on critical areas of child safety, including bike safety, child passenger safety, ATV/UTV safety, firearm safety, and safe sleep.

 

Dr. Gibbs comes from a strong agricultural and rural background, where she has more than 40 publications in the fields of agricultural health and safety, farm-related mental health, personal protective equipment, and rural and agricultural youth safety. She holds an MPH from the University of Iowa and a doctoral degree from the University of Washington in Seattle.
