At UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital, we have state-of-the-art imaging equipment that is designed for children. Our team of pediatric radiologists works to ensure the highest quality images with the lowest possible radiation doses. Our staff understands that children often don’t like to sit still. That is why we use fast, pediatric-specific techniques to optimize image quality and keep your child as comfortable as possible.

Child-centered CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other procedures

Our technologists work with babies, children, and adolescents every day and have pediatric-specific training to obtain imaging in a safe and comfortable setting. They work closely with child life specialists to reduce fear and anxiety.

Our pediatric radiology division offers comprehensive diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures for pediatric patients and young adults. Our staff consists of five dedicated pediatric radiologists, including two pediatric neuroradiologists and a pediatric interventional radiologist. We also offer subspecialty consultation and accept direct referrals.
