Inpatient and outpatient services are available, including preventive, restorative and prosthetic care, and oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures. The most advanced radiographic and surgical equipment supports specialized services such as oral and maxillofacial surgery, implants, and services to cleft palate patients.
Other special services include head and neck oncology, oral medicine, oral pathology and surgery, pediatric and general dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, and orthodontic services. These programs emphasize the coordination of consultations of treatment with other medical and surgical services.

Regular clinic hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Length of the first visit varies depending on the nature of the appointment and the level of evaluation necessary. The appointment scheduler will let you know how long to plan for your visit.
Emergency and After Hours Care
If you need to contact the clinic after hours, please telephone 1-319-356-1616 and ask for the General Dentist Resident on call. If your circumstance is an emergency, you will be directed to the Emergency Treatment Center at UI Health Care.
