UI Health Care participates in county-wide emergency training exercise

University of Iowa Health Care participated in a county-wide emergency training exercise led by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 2.

During the drill, the hospital incident command system was activated. Mock patients were triaged near the Emergency Department at university campus.

UI Health Care is proud to partner on these kinds of training exercises to strengthen coordination across multiple agencies as we serve Iowans and beyond.
