An Athlete Who Is Full of Heart

Beckham Scadlock is a heart recipient and a transplant patient with University of Iowa Children's Hospital.

Beckham participated in the Transplant Games' bowling and swimming events, as well as in a variety of track and field events such as the long jump, softball throw, and the youth 50m run!

Meeting New Brothers in a New Way

Beckham was looking forward to seeing his "heart brothers," Ben and Alex, at the Transplant Games. Beckham's heart brothers are the brothers of his heart donor.

Since having his heart transplant, Beckham has loved to read, play sports, and play Mario Kart videogames!
