Why University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics
I chose to complete my PGY1 training at the University of Iowa because I knew UI Hospitals & Clinics would provide me with learning experiences within all of my areas of interest, while promoting a safe and positive learning environment with an emphasis on mentorship. I wanted to spread my wings and leave the Windy City to experience the impact of being a clinician in the only large academic medical center in the state of Iowa in order to diversify my personal and professional experiences. I want to ensure I am confident in my skills as a pharmacist at the end of the year.
Favorite Part of Iowa City
Trying all of the local restaurants (especially Sunday brunch), wineries, and breweries. Walking all of the trails in Coralville and at Lake MacBride.
