I chose the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics because of the unique opportunities available to residents and the amazing support system of pharmacy advisors, mentors, and co-residents. Being able to staff in an ICU and carry a code response pager as a PGY1 provides a challenging and rewarding experience that aligns with my interests. I also enjoy the flexibility of the program, which allows you to make changes to your schedule throughout the year and choose from a wide variety of research projects.
