Why University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics

After deciding hem/onc was my future path, I knew University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics would be a great fit! From my past experience in the cancer center while I was a student, I knew the environment was one where I could grow with a fantastic and welcoming multidisciplinary team. I already knew pharmacists are very integrated into the clinic and are directly involved with improving patient care. I knew I wanted to be at a large academic medical center that is also an NCCN designated comprehensive cancer center so I can have the highest-level residency possible to prepare for my future as a hem/onc pharmacist!

Favorite Part of Iowa City

I love trying out local restaurants and breweries to document on my Instagram. For a small college town, Iowa City's food scene is great and best to enjoy with friends and family!
