Burt-Westvig

Molly Burt-Westvig is a painter who uses bold gestures and bright colors to translate experience, preserve and reconnect with the natural world, and reflect upon the conventions of landscape painting. Her work on display at the UIHC was inspired by time in Iceland as an artist in residence, where she created a body of work studying and exploring glaciers inside and out.
