I have spent over 20 years caring for premature and medically complex infants in the NICU, guided by PhD-level training and a commitment to evidence-based practice. Growing up in Iowa, I began my nursing and advanced practice journey at the University of Iowa, where family-centered care is at the heart of everything we do. I am passionate about clear, thoughtful communication, close collaboration with the healthcare team, and honoring each family’s unique story. It is a true privilege to care for infants and families at University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital and to serve the community I’ve always called home.
