My primary goal for any patient visit is to ensure each child receives the best pulmonary care I can provide. I believe high-quality patient care stems from active engagement with the patient and their family, ensuring I listen to their concerns and use evidence-based practices to meet those concerns. I also value creating a teamwork environment, where kids and their families use my expertise to help resolve both simple and complex problems to create the best management plan for the child.
In the end, I see my role not only as a physician but also as a public servant to kids in Iowa and across the region. My hope is with each kid I take care of, I can help them breathe a little easier.
