Why University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics

I chose University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics because it allows me to practice at an academic medical center that has the highest level of care in the state. After completing a four-year internship at the academic medical center associated with my college, I was excited to experience another health system that provided the same level of care. My interview team showed great interest in their work and involvement with residents and their enthusiasm hasn't ceased. Iowa City is also closer to home which is always a plus!

Favorite Part of Iowa City

My favorite thing to do in Iowa City so far is spending time with my co-residents at craft breweries. I also enjoy the outdoor recreational spots in the surrounding area!
