JD Graziano is an EMS instructor in the Emergency Medicine Services Learning Resources Center (EMSLRC), part of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. JD joins the EMSLRC with 10 years of EMS experience. He received his Wilderness EMT certificate in Tacoma, Washington. From there, JD worked as a professional ski patroller for six years. In 2005 he completed his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. He completed his Paramedic education in Boise, Idaho and moved to Iowa to begin work with Iowa County EMS responding to 911 calls for six years. In 2010, JD obtained his Critical Care Endorsement from the University of Iowa EMSLRC, and the following year JD received his Flight Paramedic Certification. Most recently, JD completed his Master’s Degree in Health Care Emergency Management from Boston University School of Medicine.
When JD is not engaged with educating his students, he enjoys his family adventures, with his wife and their three children.
