Why University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics

When searching for a PGY2 emergency medicine residency, I knew I wanted to be part of an institution that values multidisciplinary teamwork and opportunities for pharmacists to practice at the top of their license. The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics was a match! The emergency medicine program offers unique experiences, such as off-site rotations at a community hospital and poison control center. In addition, I had a welcoming interview experience with the preceptors and providers who are highly involved with residency training.

Favorite thing to do in Iowa city so far:  Trying out local restaurants and coffee shops!
