As a doctoral Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, I have dedicated my career to integrating clinical care and clinical research to improve outcomes for individuals and families affected by rare diseases. I lead the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) Carrier Clinic, providing comprehensive and holistic care for women who carry DMD-associated genetic variants. In addition to my clinical and research responsibilities, I am passionate about educating the next generation and serve as an educator for future nurse practitioners within the College of Nursing.
