Pediatric dermatology is a subspecialty of Dermatology, and it allows to combine the science of accurate diagnosis with the opportunity to make a real difference early in a child’s life. It’s a subspecialty that allows us to identify conditions in time, provide effective treatments, and support families along the way. I feel very fortunate to practice at University of Iowa Health Care, where collaboration, compassion, and excellence in patient care truly come together.
