My favorite thing about my job is being able to help patients feel safe and comfortable during some of their most vulnerable moments. I joined UI because of the welcoming environment, strong academic reputation, and the opportunity to grow in pediatric anesthesia within such a supportive team. I like working with patients because every encounter is a chance to make a difference whether through easing pain, calming fears, or helping them and their families feel cared for. What is special about UI Health Care is the genuine sense of collaboration and community, where everyone works together with the shared goal of providing excellent patient care. What inspires me to practice medicine is the ability to combine science, skill, and compassion to improve people’s lives. it’s a privilege to be part of their journey.
