Staff Nurse – Medical Surgical Oncology Unit
This unit is part of the National Cancer Institute- designated Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center and Silver Beacon Award of Excellence Unit. The Medical Surgical Oncology Unit is a 44-bed adult medical-surgical oncology and urology unit. As a staff nurse in this unit, you’ll assess patients’ nursing care needs, evaluate the effectiveness of the care provided, and integrate nursing theory and research into clinical practice.
Staff Nurse – Adult Acute Internal Medicine Unit
As a staff nurse in our Adult Acute Internal Medicine Unit, you’ll provide care for patients with multiple diagnoses, providing general care to adult and geriatric patients. Our team offers a multidisciplinary approach to patient care that encourages teamwork between nursing staff, physicians, therapy teams, social work, care coordination, and pharmacists.

Staff Nurse – Neuroscience Intermediate Care Unit
As a staff nurse in our Neuroscience Intermediate Care Unit, you’ll care for adult neurology and neurosurgical patients. Diagnoses may include stroke, central nervous system autoimmune diseases, surgeries of the brain and spinal cord, and neurological traumas involving the head, brain, and spinal cord.

Assistant Nurse Manager – Main Operating Room Cardiothoracic/Vascular Team
We’re looking for an experienced nurse leader to join our team as an assistant nurse manager. In this position, you’ll lead your team to assure that all staff provide safe clinical care to patients using the latest treatments and resources. You’ll also serve as a role model for your team by demonstrating your clinical expertise when caring for patients.

Staff Nurse – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
Join our team as a staff nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). You’ll provide care for adults with conditions ranging from myocardial infarctions needing coronary interventions to patients who have undergone cardiac surgery such as CABG or VAD placement. Many patients in the CVICU have multi-system failure needing advanced hemodynamic care.

Staff Nurse – Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center
We’re looking for staff nurses to join our Holden Compressive Cancer Center team. We are Iowa’s only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center dedicated to bringing world class research and cancer care to Iowa, the Midwest and beyond. You’ll be involved in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of patients; treat patients from initial diagnosis through survivorship and follow-up; and involve patients and families in the development of a patient care plan, along with their multidisciplinary care team.
