The UI Heart and Vascular Center's Cardiac Rehabilitation program will no longer use the CHAMPS acronym, effective Thursday, March 1.
“Patients are more familiar with terms such as cardiac rehabilitation or cardiac rehab, and often times, use those key words when searching for health care services,” says Michael Muellerleile, MD. “By removing the acronym, patients can more easily locate our program.”
Updates to signage are in progress.
