COVID-19 vaccine side effects: See what our employees are reporting, and why it means the vaccine is working
UI Health Care workers were among the first Iowans to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
As of Sunday, Feb. 28, more than 12,659 employees have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 10,349 employees have received both doses.
As a part of receiving the vaccine, many employees were sent a survey about their symptoms. More than 3,500 UI Health Care employees have responded to a survey, during December - February, regarding their side effects following the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. In addition, more than 4,300 employees responded during a similar timeframe regarding side effects following their second dose.
