University of Iowa Health Care Named a Top Health Care Brand
Ranked No. 2 most trusted and No. 3 overall health care brand in recent report
University of Iowa Health Care has been named the second-most trusted health care brand and third overall health care brand experience in the United States, according to a recently published brand report. The organization’s national recognition as the No. 2 most trusted brand in health care places it among a roster of distinguished peers: Emory Health Care (1), Northwestern Medicine (3), Mayo Clinic (4), and John Hopkins Medicine (5).
Drawing on in-depth research from more than 25,000 consumers, the Humanizing Brand Experience report by the brand experience company Monigle ranks more than 200 brands across 64 markets to identify the strongest health care experiences in the nation.
UI Health Care receives top national and regional performance on attributes such as having the best people, quality medical outcomes, buzz (positive word-of-mouth), innovation (the latest medical treatments and technologies), freedom (supports patients in understanding options in health care choices), and dynamism (action-oriented).
“Being named a most trusted health care brand is an honor that reflects the strong relationship with our patients, many of whom are generations of Iowan families who have received care with us,” says Brooks Jackson, MD, MBA, University of Iowa Vice President for Medical Affairs and the Tyrone D. Artz Dean, Carver College of Medicine. “It’s a testament to our academic excellence and how our researchers, educators, providers, nurses, and care teams work together to give high-quality care and experiences for our patients and their families every day.”
The sixth annual report delivers data and actionable insights to participating health care systems on brand, culture, and experience—the building blocks to create more human health care experiences.
