Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Professional Practice
As Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Christina Woline supports nursing education and professional development programs, quality, informatics, research and evidence-based practice, the Magnet® Program, and the emergency medicine services learning resource center across the University of Iowa Health Care system.
Woline joined UI Health Care in 2004 as a staff nurse in the neuroscience inpatient unit. Since that time, she’s held roles of increasing responsibility including assistant nurse manager, nursing practice leader, and associate director.
Woline is a member of the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD), International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation (INACSL), and Sigma Theta Tau International. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Iowa Wesleyan College and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa College of Nursing. Woline went on to receive her Doctor of Nursing Practice from American Sentinel University.
