Why University of Iowa Health Care?

University of Iowa Health Care felt like the perfect fit for me given the program's unique opportunity to experience both adult and pediatric rotations, in addition to being a Level I trauma center. Aside from the ability to truly customize my PGY1 rotation schedule to fit my interests, I more importantly felt welcomed when I stepped onto campus. Just from my interview, I could see the support and genuine care from the pharmacy leadership for their residents. The larger residency cohort was also something that attracted me, and I loved seeing relationships built within the group. I believe this program will both challenge and support me as I develop my skills as a clinical pharmacist. I am excited about all the opportunities University of Iowa Health Care offers!
