Why University of Iowa Health Care

I was interested in the University of Iowa Health Care residency program because of the many opportunities to develop my skills as an ambulatory care pharmacist. At UI Health Care, pharmacists are integrated into a wide variety of outpatient clinics and are able to provide innovative and expanded clinical services for patients. In addition, I was excited by the opportunity to work with preceptors who are experts in their fields, who would both challenge and support me throughout the residency year. Finally, I was excited to expand my precepting and lecturing skills through the PEPPR program. I could not be happier completing my residency at UI Health Care!

Taking my golden retriever for walks at Kent Park and Lake MacBride!
