Why University of Iowa Health Care

Initially, preceptors during my PGY1 residency at CRMC recommended the University of Iowa Health Care as a possible next step in my career because of my passion for pediatrics. Upon reviewing the program, the diverse and unique rotation opportunities, as well as the chance to train at a nationally recognized children’s hospital, immediately caught my attention. I chose the University of Iowa Health Care because I believe their preceptors will help me achieve my professional goals, and I will also have the opportunity to give back to the profession by precepting pharmacy students. Additionally, during my interview I felt welcomed by the staff, received great feedback from the current resident, and most importantly, was able to truly see myself as part of the program.
