Why University of Iowa Health Care?

I was really interested in the UI Health Care residency program because of the ability to explore many of my professional interests like critical care and pediatrics. Being an academic medical center, they also have many other things that I am interested in like research, precepting opportunities, and interacting with a diverse patient population.  I knew this program would help me become a well-rounded pharmacist and grow into a confident practitioner. Additionally, I had a great interview experience and could tell that I would be supported by the pharmacy team and valued member of the interdisciplinary team.
