About Aysun Karabulut
As a woman, it is a privilege for me to care for and guide women through the different stages of their lives. My goal is to understand their concerns and expectations, listen carefully, work collaboratively to find solutions, and provide evidence-based counseling and guidance in the light of the most recent scientific advances while delivering compassionate care. I also find deep meaning in touching the hearts and souls of those I care for, as this inspires me in my working in medicine and reinforces my belief that small gestures can create profound impact in a person's life. I view medicine as both science and an art, and I believe University of Iowa Healthcare provides an environment where I can practice this art with integrity, purpose, and excellence.
